Delete your account

MyPokerSeries — account and data deletion

You can delete your MyPokerSeries account at any time. Deletion is permanent: once it is done, your account cannot be recovered.

From inside the app

This is the fastest route, and it works on both the mobile app and the web app.

  1. Open Settings (the avatar in the top right).
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your account and the data listed below are erased immediately.

By email

If you no longer have access to the app — you lost your phone, you can no longer sign in, or you uninstalled it — write to contact@mypokerseries.com from the email address of the account you want to delete.

Tell us it is a deletion request. We will confirm your identity, delete the account, and reply once it is done. We answer within 30 days, and usually within a few working days.

What is deleted

Everything attached to your account, permanently:

  • your profile: username, display name, bio, location, avatar;
  • your tournament entries, cash game sessions, expenses and trips;
  • your staking, backing and swap deals;
  • your friendships, crew memberships and live statuses;
  • your notification settings and push tokens;
  • your subscription record, if you have one.

What is kept, and why

Two categories survive the deletion, and neither identifies you as a user of the app.

Accounting records. Invoices and payment records tied to a paid subscription are kept for the period required by law, currently ten years in France. They are held for accounting purposes only.

Aggregated statistics. Anonymous counters — such as the number of accounts created in a month — contain no personal data and cannot be traced back to you.

Content that other people created and that mentions you, such as a staking deal recorded by a backer, remains in their own records: it is their data, not yours, and we cannot delete it on your behalf.

Cancelling a subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Those subscriptions are managed by Apple and Google, and only they can cancel them:

  • iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
  • Android: Play Store → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Cancel there before deleting your account, otherwise the renewal keeps running.
